Felt like a weekend away

This mini retreat felt like a weekend away. Heidi created a safe, nurturing space in which I felt able to let go all the business and demands of life and just be. There was an unexpected power in being part of a circle of women all with differing situations but sharing a need to find ourselves. I found the balance of sharing, journaling and slow yoga created the opportunity to let go at a deep level. I left feeling deeply relaxed and with tools of self care to take away.

A safe, warm and nurturing space in which I was able to completely let go

I went to my first mini retreat with a bit of apprehension as I had no idea what to expect but knowing I needed some time out and some relaxation. What I experienced was much more than I had hoped for. Heidi created a safe, warm and nurturing space in which I was able to completely let go. The mix of gentle yoga, journaling and relaxation combined to encourage deeper letting go and the journaling also helped me to have more understanding of what I could do to take better care of myself. I also found being in a women’s only group very supportive. I have since been to a second mini retreat and I am looking forward to the next one.

Heidi's retreat was a warm, nurturing space to escape from the world for a morning and look within. She created moments of safety, calm, and connection that will stay with me for a long time. I didn't know how much I needed it!

Another lovely day spent with like minded people with the opportunity to familiarise myself with journaling. Spending time in circle and sharing was new to me, it was good to have the space to really think about myself, what I need and where I need to make change.

I felt 'held' not only by Heidi but also the other women who also expressed the benefit of creating time just for ourselves and to share what was on our hearts . A lovely relaxing morning

A lovely opportunity and safe space to share experiences, good and difficult ones, with other women. Heidi was excellent in providing gentle guidance and support to aid discussion and the art of journaling. It was nice to have some yoga practice between the mindfulness sections. Everything was an invitation 

Everything was an invitation which included the option to be guided by her in some fluid and gentle movement which helped relax my body in preparation to sink deeply into the guided relaxation and journaling prompts. I left the day feeling really calm and centred.

Comfortable and welcoming 

Heidi held a beautiful mini retreat last Saturday. We sat in a lovely prepared circle which was comfortable and welcoming. Heidi has a calm, gentle and steady presence which was present throughout the whole time.
